Biography
-
Héritier Tshipeshi Makina is graduated in 2019 from the Polytechnic Faculty of the University of Lubumbashi (UNILU) with a Master’s degree in Metallic Materials and Civil Engineer’s degree in Metallurgy and Materials.
His master's project focused on the study of high purity cobalt carbonate nanocrystals production by microemulsion as batteries precursors. Cobalt carbonate nanocrystals are increasingly interesting due to their exceptional properties. They are widely used in rechargeable batteries for electric vehicles, in catalysis and in the production of magnetic materials owing it to their physical, electrical and (electro)chemical properties.
Héritier is also an Assistant at the same Polytechnic Faculty, Secretary in charge of research at the Metallurgy Department and Collaborator at the Metallography and Materials Laboratory of the University of Lubumbashi
