Biosketch: Dr. Hamidreza Behi specializes in battery science, advanced thermal management systems for electric vehicles, and energy storage technologies. He obtained his Ph.D. from Vrije Universiteit Brussels, School of Electrical and Power Engineering, with a focus on lithium-ion battery thermal management, with the highest distinction awards. His research interests span battery technologies, renewable energy systems, CFD modeling, electronic cooling, and multidisciplinary energy applications. Dr. Behi has authored more than fifty peer-reviewed publications and is an inventor on two patents. He has held industrial and leadership roles, including Senior Mechanical Cell Engineer at Dyson and Research Manager at Octave, contributing to several European R&D projects.
Research Topics: Battery science, second-life battery technology, renewable energy, battery thermal management systems, and electronic cooling.
