- Constantin M. Tshakatumba is a Civil Engineer/ Metallurgy option of the University of Lubumbashi, Lubumbashi, DR Congo since 2015. For his PhD thesis, he is enrolled in the Engineering Sciences and Technology doctoral program at the Université Libre de Bruxelles.

The recycling of waste in order to remediate the environment is a challenge to which materials engineers will have to provide an eco-friendly approach.
The present research focuses on the recycling of mining waste from an ex-concentrator of copper and cobalt ores in the production of anti-acid materials for the electrolysis halls and building bricks, by adding clay and recycled glass in accordance with green circular economy requirements.
